Ateeq Awan

Ateeq is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) who has been with Laurel since 2018 and has served as a Clinical Supervisor since 2022. He holds a B.Sc. in Psychology from the University of Toronto and an M.A. in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) from Brock University. In his current role, Ateeq supervises behaviour consultation services across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley for children, youth, and adults with developmental disabilities, including autism and intellectual disability. His work centres on clinical supervision, ethical practice, and staff development. He supports consultants in delivering practical, individualized, ABA-based services to families, behaviour interventionists, and residential care teams. Ateeq is especially interested in evidence-informed approaches that improve quality of life. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling, photography, and spending time outdoors in beautiful BC.
